Wynter is half asleep when Uncle Paul comes to her room. She begs him to delay the slippering till the next day, but Uncle Paul is having none of it. Finally kneeling on the bed she gets a dozen good whacks with his slipper. Uncle Paul leaves her rubbing her bottom and pondering the wisdom of drinking at school.
